Our objectives

• Identify the clones with high health status and performance

• Promote interest in, and improve knowledge of new varieties

• Produce and supply improved vine material to meet the changing requirements of the grape industry

To achieve these objectives the Committee arranged the planting of registered Source Blocks and trials in commercial vineyards

throughout the Riverland. In 1977 these blocks produced RVIC's first vine material for sale to local growers.

In 1983 Riverland Vine Improvement expanded their cutting business to include a commercial grafted vine and rootling nursery.

Over the past 40 years RVIC has strived to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.

The focus on quality has seen the nursery develop a trusted and regarded reputation for their products and service throughout Australia.
